The white wine »vom grauen Tonschiefer« Mehring Zellerberg Riesling feinherb, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Römerhof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Restrained on the nose, in keeping with the estate's style. On the palate, however, it has an enormous juiciness, held back by a light phenolic note: lemon zest, Renette apple and green plum. Despite its accessibility, it has ageing potential.
