The white wine »Alte Reben« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Roth has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Rich, clear yellow. On the nose a bit restrained at the beginning, then notes of almond, pear and hints of hay appear. On the palate a lot of texture, a little phenolic, extract and power, light fruits are underlaid with spice, a lot of juice, dense structure and length. Pairs well with white meat.
