The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC Selection, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Salzl – Seewinkelhof has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby-garnet colour, purple reflections, broad rim brightening. Blackberry confit with a delicate tobacco background, black cherries, subtle herbal savouriness. Medium body, finely savoury, ripe cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, remains persistent, has development and certain ageing potential.
