The red wine Grande Cuvée, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Salzl – Seewinkelhof has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Deep ruby core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicate blackberries, figs, candied orange zest and hints of fine wood spices. Juicy, taut, light on its feet with red forest berries, well-balanced tannins and hints of tobacco on the finish. Very good with food.
