The white wine Monzinger Halenberg, vintage 2006 from the winery Weingut Schäfer-Fröhlich has been rated in 2007 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Pale greenish yellow. Ripe, sweet tropical fruit on the nose, fine smoky minerality, delicate vegetal spice. Sweet extract on the palate, juicy fruit, supported by a good acidity structure, hints of citrus, full-bodied, but tends to melt away a little, already very accessible, silky stone fruit and delicate citrus notes on the finish.
