The white wine Erbach Marcobrunn Riesling Reserve »PR«, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schloss Reinhartshausen has been rated in 2021 with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Fruit-driven, red apple, but also herbal savouriness, lemon balm, a delicate hint of very fine overripeness. The palate structure combines creaminess with depth, the penetratingly intense tactile minerality creates just as much tension as the steely acidity. Ripe citrus fruit on the finish, orange peel, tangerine. Long, and only at the very beginning of a long-term development.
