The red wine Grande Reserve, vintage 2008 from the winery Bio-Weingut Schwarz has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights. On the nose, subtle notes of precious wood, sweet blackberry and plum fruit, a hint of cinnamon and cloves, and a touch of tobacco. Full-bodied, dark berry fruit, a hint of licorice, powerful tannins, a delicate caramel note in the finish, good length, black berries in the finish, a hint of dark chocolate in the aftertaste.
