The aroma shows a distinct varietal type, with notes of ripe berries and Charantais melon, sweet and very pure. There is also a hint of ice candy. On the palate the wine appears medium-bodied, the lively acid backbone determines the impression, some fruitiness holds against it, the structure is more slender and vertical than expansive. Given the vintage, the concentration is very good, but the length is more in the usual range of the vintage type.
