The red wine Syrah Reserve Ried Bühl no name, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut St. Bayer has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the ochre rim. On the nose, aromas of dark berry fruit, sweet herbal spices, a hint of fine oak, with nuances of cranberry. The palate is juicy and ripely fruited with a pleasant sweetness, elegant tannins, and nougat notes on the long finish. Harmonious and already easy to drink, has the potential for ageing.
