Tasting Notes
It is said that you can't smell salt - this wine proves the opposite: enormous salty minerality on the nose. Fruit flavours of quince, apricot and apple are artfully arranged behind it. Delicate savoury notes reminiscent of honey and wild herbs. Elegant palate appeal with fine fruit fullness and again a salty-mineral flavour. Compact grandeur and youthful playfulness. Great stuff from Baden that is guaranteed to benefit from further ageing.
