The white wine Saulheim Probstey Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Thörle has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Opulent, savoury nose with notes of herbs such as thyme and myrrh, but also smoke. Powerful on the palate, you can taste the finely integrated oak, plump notes spread out, salty and mineral on the palate, yet incredibly fresh with lots of juice. Here's to the future!
