The white wine Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Silvaner Spätlese trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Trockene Schmitts has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
This is lovely and fresh on the nose. There are aromas of wet stone, ripe yellow fruit, orange blossom, and thyme. On the palate a lively acidity cushions the ripe fruit very well, and this is accompanied by plenty of freshness, density, and a very nice texture. It has an exciting finish.
