Dark purple, brightening on the rim. Initially lots of fruity aromas, hints of cassis, tobacco and mocha, followed by notes of dark chocolate. Intense on the palate, compact tannins and plenty of grip, retronasal notes of wood and plum compote. A long, somewhat rustic finish.
