The sweet and dessert wine Beerenauslese Seewinkel, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Velich has been rated in 2013 with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Welschriesling, Scheurebe from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium amber colour, golden reflections. Notes of fully ripe apricots and honey background with fine herbal savouriness, nuances of dried plums, fine tobacco hints. Full-bodied, complex, stylistically more of a TBA, orange confit on the finish, very good length, sweet aftertaste, sure development and certain ageing potential.
