The red wine »Schrannawengert« Lemberger trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Velte has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
On the nose, aromas of wood spice that pushes the fruit somewhat into the background, with notes of dark berries, blackberry and black cherry appearing with a little air. The palate is soft with supple tannins and fine spices, well-judged power and sweet extract, underpinned by balanced acidity. Beautiful varietal typicity.
