The red wine »Applaus, Applaus« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Villa Hochdörffer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Attractive dark fruit on the nose with blackberry, blueberry, cassis, a touch of green pepper, tobacco as well as fine wood spice. On the palate, the good acidity carries the ripe tannin and noble extract, good flow. Very successful cuvée with ageing potential.
