The white wine Kanzem Hörecker Riesling Spätlese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut von Hövel has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
A beguiling late harvest fruit in first ripeness: mango, ripe vineyard peach, some sultanas and dates, also saffron and coriander seeds. In the mouth, the wine is delicate and berry in a complex way, silky sweetness emphasises a melting texture on the edge of the Auslese predicate, fine mineral notes reinforce the freshness. Subtle!
