The white wine »Imperiale« Sauvignon Blanc trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lemon yellow in colour. There is a hint of oak savouriness on the nose, as well as quite opulent floral fruit, lychee and blackcurrant. The palate is powerful, with a strong phenolic structure, firm acidity and savoury aromas on the finish.
