The sparkling wine Dicker Fritz Sekt Methode Traditionelle, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Willems-Willems has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Moselle in Germany.
It has a delicate aroma, with hay, nut, and some yeast, and although not chalky it has chalky underpinnings. There is a very fine mousse, with a taut acidity, and it is gripping and almost biting, with some minerality in the background. It is still slightly reductive on the finish, and is a discreetly sweet sparkling wine.
