Strong red with a faint ripe rim. Bouquet initially dull and animal, dried fruit notes, with aeration berry aromas, plums, tar. Full-bodied attack on the palate, spicy, robust tannins, suitable acidity. Slightly bitter, still woody finish. Currently a somewhat indisposed wine, but has potential.
