It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are inviting aromas of rosehip and cherry, as well as some herbs, and an oak spiciness in the background. On the palate it is taut, elegant, with a fine structure, nice spice, and subtle fruit nuances on the finish. It is a multi-faceted food wine.
