It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are fine tobacco nuances on the nose, as well as a hint of cherry, some bergamot, and discreet notes of blackberry and nougat. The palate is juicy and elegant, with a lovely spiciness, and a hint of blueberry confit. It is persistent, and it is a versatile food wine.
