The sweet and dessert wine Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese No. 11 Zwischen den Seen, vintage 2015 from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium yellow gold, silver reflections. Delicate red berry notes underpinned with botrytis spice, a hint of dried plums, subtle tobacco note, yellow tropical fruit and orange zest in the background. Juicy, sweet pineapple, yellow apple, very well-integrated residual sugar, which is countered by a vibrant acidity, salty nuances on the finish, still immensely young, should now be allowed to age for at least a decade to show itself in all its glory. Has world-class potential.
