The red wine Benchmark Red Blend, vintage 2012 from the winery William Hill has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc from the region Napa Valley in United States.
Deep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle edge brightening. Ripe heart cherries, sweet plums, tobacco nuances, delicate touch of precious wood. Despite all its power, only medium complexity, black berries, somewhat brittle tannins, noticeable acidity structure that seems a little artificial, this wine still seems unbalanced and alcoholic, time will tell whether this can go together.
