Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre at the rim. Fine oak nuances, some nougat black forest fruit jam, candied violet and cassis. Juicy, fresh sweet cherry, ripe, supporting tannins, chocolate on the finish, persistent, a robust food wine with good ageing potential.
