The white wine »Familiengewächs« Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Winzer Sommerach – Die Genossenschaft has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
With a lot of savouriness on the nose, chalky notes, mustard seeds, sage, bay leaf, thyme to the fine fruit of pears, apple, white flowers, subtle peppery hints. Juicy and elegant on the palate with fine fruit, fresh acidity to the smooth base, with a delicate spiciness on the long finish.
More about the tastingA little patinated fruit with aniseed and apple on the nose. On the palate, the PINOT Blanc then shows a very nice classic juiciness that also invites fruit drinkers. Nevertheless, everything remains dry, an ideal wine by the glass!.
