Strong new wood. But even apart from that, the aroma is rich: sweet cherry, cherry pit, orange peel, cinnamon and dried ginger. The palate begins smoothly, then develops a fine-grained, fresh and juicy tannin and finishes with a grippy, elegant finish that ultimately emphasises the fruit.
