The red wine »Edition« Kallstadt Kobnert Syrah trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Kallstadt eG has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Shiraz from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Notes of almond, white pepper and plum, as well as aromas from ageing in large wooden barrels and menthol and eucalyptus - a quite complex nose! On the palate, the variety shows its sinewy side with taut tannins, a lively acidity and juiciness giving drive. Has certain ageing potential.
