The red wine »Goldkapsel« Frühburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Mayschoss-Altenahr has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Ahr in Germany.
Fruity nose with cherry aromas, mulberry, blood orange, blueberry and wood spice, also a hint of saffron. On the base it shows good substance and power, ripe fruit, some sour cherry, mild acidity. The tannins are ripe, elegant and show Pinot typicity.
