The white wine Beckstein Marbacher Frankenberg Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Winzerhof Strebel has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauer Burgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Spicy on the nose, still youthfully yeasty, almond, fir honey, herbs, mint, complex and fresh. On the palate it shows with some alcoholic strength, sturdy, firm acid backbone, good full-bodied density on the finish, which, in addition to the aromatic ageing potential, above all shows an intense tactile minerality.
