The weißherbst »Junge Winzer« Rosé, vintage 2024 from the winery Winzerkeller Auggener Schäf has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Cortis, Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A pale dusky rose in colour. A fresh, fruity, even slightly caramel like aroma with notes of banana, Gariguette strawberry and freshly cooked stewed apple. The palate has a silky, pleasantly light alcohol structure, the aromatic complexity and the very good length make this wine a versatile summer companion, from aperitifs to salads, terrines and pâtés.
