Intense, brilliant ruby with garnet glints. Opens with subtle toasted notes of roasted hazelnuts and chestnuts, then lots of ripe cherry, some cardamom in the background. Very lush on the palate, showing lots of ripe cherry and raspberry, opens with soft, supple tannin, also shows nice juiciness as it progresses, very long finish.
