The former cocktail bar "4780" became vacant, and architect Christian Daxner turned it into a hip "sake store for sitting" that could just as easily be located in a Tokyo neighbourhood. The Hofbeisl or "k.u.k.", as it is called by the locals, has been Ischl's authority since 1985 when it comes to conviviality, pub culture and the best food and drink.
