Villach's first coffee roastery attracts guests with a variety of types and blends from strong to velvety, as well as Italian cocoa - all of which can be enjoyed on site or at home. Freshly imported pastries from Friuli are served with it.
In the classic coffee house in the heart of Klagenfurt, the day begins with equally classic egg dishes for breakfast. Then it continues with changing lunch dishes of the savoury variety, and for dessert homemade strudel and cake are served.
Proof that "joie de vivre" is no empty phrase: in this French café, in addition to fine breakfasts, the range of tarte flambées and galettes are a particular hit with hungry customers. Fresh crêpes with various fillings await sweet-toothed visitors.
During the day, breakfast or coffee is sipped (very good affogato!) in the modern and stylishly restored oldest café in the city with a view of the Lindwurm. In the evening, the corks pop and you treat yourself to a glass of fizz after work.
The stylish location offers plenty of space for dreaming: on the jetty, the lake is within reach; on the second floor, the view sweeps far beyond the shore. For an extended vacation feeling, you go straight from afternoon coffee to dinner and drinks.
In the wellness oasis, relaxation also goes through the stomach - head pastry chef Michaela Neumayr serves fresh cakes and tarts of high quality. Breakfast is also available, of course, and there is also an extensive brunch on one Sunday a month.
The old-school furnishings of the cosy coffeehouse welcome guests with retro charm, but freshness is the top priority for the products from the bakery. The Franz Klammer cake with raspberry and walnut is not only enjoyed by the skiing legend.
A Viennese coffee house in the south of the country!
