"Smoking Allowed" Bars in Canton Zurich
The unique Kronenhalle Bar has been one of the best bars in Zurich since it was founded in 1965. However, this is the only place where you can sip cocktails under paintings by Picasso and Miró. The Tina Bar above Brasserie Louis has cult status in Zurich. The Cranberry Bar in the city center has been serving Zurich's gay scene and its friends since 1997. It has a lively atmosphere and fine cocktails. The menu mainly features classics, but there are also a few original creations with and without alcohol. The decor is modern and unfussy.
The Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is located in the middle of - or rather above - Zurich's bustling Bahnhofstrasse shopping street. In addition to a menu peppered with Asian influences, it serves delicious drinks, cocktails, beers and wine. The bar is extremely popular and the atmosphere is always lively.
The Coco bar with its large terrace is hidden away in an alley off Paradeplatz. Despite its proximity to the busy Bahnhofstrasse, it is an oasis of calm with a great selection of drinks, spirits and wine. Thanks to a fumoir license, you can also smoke cigars or cigarettes here.
