The interior is stylish. The cocktails are compositional surprises. Owner Torsten Spuhn has created a bar in the middle of Erfurt that is on a world-class level. His knowledge, especially of the classic drink repertoire, is breathtaking. The service is courteous and the long drinks are particularly good.
America meets Africa and Thuringia. The long bar in the rustic dining room is surrounded by wood, antelope antlers and elegant leather armchairs. In a cosy atmosphere, the team at the traditional Platzhirschen serves hearty cocktails and more than 100 types of gin and 200 types of rum. Selected snacks are also available.
Danny Müller and Marco Kühl are true globetrotters, and this is also reflected in the bar's excellent international wine selection. In the midst of medieval walls, a contemporary restaurant has been established here, where innovative cocktails are served together with unusual dishes.
