Pivasta is located between Stachus and Theresienwiese and impresses with its flavoursome Afghan dishes. The mantu with minced meat, lentil sauce and quark and the lamb dishes are particularly recommended. If you prefer a more Western flavours, you can also order pizza and burgers.

Probably one of the smallest kitchens in Munich – and a real street food gem: Chat Junction serves Indian classics such as samosa chaat or curries in a lunchbox on the mezzanine floor of the Isartor S-Bahn station. And at extremely fair prices: usually under 6 euros.
If you like, you can stand at the kitchen door and watch the chefs stretch the noodles with skilful movements. But then you should sit down quickly to savour them with a delicious sesame and garlic sauce. There are good wines to go with it.
