The Best Pizza Spots in Stockholm
Wood-fired ovens like those in Naples, 72-hour cold-fermented dough, baking at 450 degrees, and ingredients from the slopes of Vesuvius make this a truly authentic pizzeria. Since opening here in 2016, it has grown to six locations across Stockholm—“thank goodness,” as the Italian name suggests.
Every Neapolitan-style pizza baked by “little grandma” is vegetarian or vegan. The Nduja features a vegan sausage, while the Blue pairs gorgonzola with pear, nuts, and honey. Friends Juanita Pirizadeh and Alessandra Michisanti started with a pizza cart in 2019 before settling into a permanent space.
Stockholm craft brewery Omnipollo is behind this gastropub, pairing an ever-changing tap list with sourdough pizzas. The classic toppings are complemented by surprising touches like kimchi, almonds, and fennel-infused honey. In summer, the small space just off Götgatan extends with outdoor tables.
Anders Östblom and Oskar Montano (author of “Pizza Wizard”) opened their first pizzeria in 2016. This spin-off serves five tastes, either by the slice or as a whole pizza for up to four people. Dough made from Swedish heritage grain forms a thin base with a lovely crunch.
