In 2025 Six Senses Lisbon opens in the historic Palácio Lavra, a 17th-century Portuguese landmark.

After Istanbul and the planned hotels in Rome, New York, London and Bangkok Six Senses is now celebrating its arrival in the heart of Lisbon. The Portuguese portfolio is thus being expanded after the Six Senses Douro Valley in the heart of the country's wine region Second first-class destination extended.

With love for history

Like all of the brand's urban hotels, the Six Senses Lisbon designed with a special focus on outstanding craftsmanship, comfort, natural materials and light. This is how the Hotel refuge and hotspot at the same time - with sufficient privacy and a seamless transition to city life. This time, the historic buildings are the converted Palácio Lavra from the 17th century and the remarkable Palácio de Pedrosas. The latter was built in 1764 for an Italian merchant and later sold to the Portuguese post office. In addition to the famous Funicular Elevator do Lavra the Six Senses Lisbon is located in the immediate vicinity of all cultural highlights of the city, including the Coliseu Theater and the Politeama Theater. For fashion enthusiasts, the iconic Avenida Liberdade is just a few meters away.

After the opening, the two buildings of the Six Senses Lisbon 114 guest rooms give. The Palácio de Pedrosas is a journey through time with pieces that were acquired by the original merchant and are still on site today. There is also classical and modern art, book collections, antique carpets, maps and handmade textile sculptures. The atmosphere is contemporary and fresh and contrasts with the exposed classical architecture and the traditional Portuguese furniture. The spacious room layout, the large windows and doors and the high ceilings give the hotel an airy and modern character. The suites have separate fitted kitchens and terraces with dining areas and comfortable sofas. Ideal for relaxing at the end of an eventful day with extensive Shopping and sightseeing tours.
