Christmas markets "All You Can Eat" in Vienna and Berlin

At these Christmas markets, the motto is: feast until your stomach is full. With a purchased ticket, mulled wine, bratwurst and gingerbread are all-inclusive.

A bratwurst here, a punch there - and the cost of a visit to the Christmas market can add up to several euros. In addition to the usual Advent markets, Vienna and Berlin are focusing on a new concept: at "All-You-Can-Eat" Christmas markets, visitors can feast without limit for a fixed price.

The all-inclusive pioneer is located in Berlin

Directly at the Spreespeicher, just a few steps away from the Oberbaumbrücke, a special Advent format has been established since 2020: "Christmas on the Spree" is Germany's first all-inclusive Christmas market. Tickets for a timeslot cost from 29 euros. Visitors can feast on classics such as bratwurst, neck steak and cheese spaetzle as well as pulled Christmas pork burgers and Finnish flamed salmon. For those with a sweet tooth, crêpes, waffles, quark balls and roasted almonds are included in the all-inclusive package. This includes unlimited mulled wine, punch, beer, wine, sparkling wine and non-alcoholic drinks - only long drinks and shots are charged separately.

The concept was developed during the coronavirus pandemic, when the number of visitors was deliberately limited. Even today, tickets for a time slot must be booked online in advance.

Opening hours 2025:
Until December 30, daily 5-10 p.m., closed: December 24-26

Prices:
Adults: from € 29.90 (2 hours) to € 47.90 (5 hours); heated VIP tents from € 67

Vienna's premiere at "Der Garten Wien"

This year, Vienna is also celebrating its all-inclusive Advent debut in the winter area "Der Garten Wien" in the Prater Hauptallee. For a two-and-a-half-hour slot, adults pay from 39.90 euros for the full culinary program with alcoholic drinks. Street food such as lentil soup, cheese spaetzle, potato pancakes, mini-germknödel and Kaiserschmarren with vegan options will be served. Hot drinks such as mulled wine and punch are included in the price. The organizers have opted for a mixture of nostalgia and event atmosphere. Fire pits, live music, DJs, games, photo spots and twinkling lights create a lively winter setting. In addition, program items such as curling, tree trunk nailing and an oversized Jenga game provide variety.
