Is This City the New Insider Tip for Foodies?
The gourmets of this world are currently drawn to a destination that many had not had on their radar as an insider tip for foodies so far: Tallinn.
Estonia scores with many natural beauties. But city travelers usually fall in love with the destination quickly too. After all, its capital Tallinn is worth seeing. Narrow alleys, charming cobblestones and medieval city walls are popular photo motifs. Nature lovers and sightseeing enthusiasts are being followed by gourmets to this fascinating city on the Baltic Sea now. It's considered a secret tip for foodies, among other things, because of its unusual restaurant concepts.
Olde Hansa: Eating just like in the Middle Ages
Rustic interior and wandering troubadours are just one element that make the food in this restaurant unforgettable. In addition, there's also the menu from the 15th century. Specifically, this means that sausages made from elk, bear and wild boar end up on the plates, as does grilled salmon. And although you may not necessarily know the Middle Ages as a glamorous culinary epoch, it tastes great. The authentic medieval feast also delights modern-day visitors.

Café Maiasmokk: Sweet art
The oldest coffee house in the city (and the whole country!) has been dedicated to sweet creations since 1864. Not only the locals appreciate the cakes, pies and marzipan of the confectionery. They also delivered to the tsar's court in St. Petersburg in the 19th century. The café is located in a listed building. If you can take your eyes off the small works of art on the plates, you should admire the artistic stained glass ceiling.

Restaurant PULL: Industrial Style (almost) with a star
Entirely dedicated to modernity, the Restaurant PULL verschrieben. Die high quality steaks accompanied by a careful selection of fine wines. And cooking is mostly done directly over the flame.

Etwas More squiggles are on the menu. Because it scores with Baltic cuisine. However, this was given a Asian upgrade. This is worth a mention in the Michelin Guide. But the view is at least as beautiful. It falls from the large terrace or through the ceiling-high glass front on the Gulf of Finland.

Lore: Something New in the old district
The former Kalamaja Fishing District was a sealed-off border area during the Soviet era. And then later an important industrial site. Today Kalamaja, located between the coast and the old town, is a mecca for creative people. It is characterized by numerous old wooden houses. There is also a three-story shopping center. It delights with harbor views and comfort food with a twist.
