Island life: Zannier opens house on the Île de Bendor
A new Zannier Resort is being built on the Île de Bendor, where entrepreneur Paul Ricard has brought together the creative bohemians since the 1950s. Together with Paul Ricard's great-grandson Marc de Jouffroy, Arnaud Zannier takes over the island, located 45 kilometers east of Marseille. The 93-room hotel interprets three design worlds: "Delos" (39 rooms) embodies the elegant Riviera aesthetics of the 1960s, while "Soukana" (49 rooms) is aimed particularly at families and wellness lovers. They are complemented by five two-storey Madrague houses with private gardens - intimate retreats for families and groups of friends.
Chef Lionel Levy provides culinary highlights with eight concepts: the gourmet restaurant "Le Grand Large" becomes a stage for top international cuisine with changing guest chefs, the "Café Paul Ricard" serves traditional Provençal specialties, the "Bar Patrick" honors the son of the island's founder, and "Nonna Bazaar", launched in Menorca in 2022, celebrates its second home here. The 1,200 square meter spa is one of the largest in the region and rounds off the resort's offerings.
Comeback of the Riviera icon: "COMO Le Beauvallon"
A jewel of the Belle Époque returns: The legendary "Le Beauvallon" on the Côte d'Azur will reopen its doors on April 24, 2026 under the umbrella of "COMO Hotels & Resorts". The house, built in 1914 and once a retreat for Winston Churchill and Audrey Hepburn, combines historical charm with modern design. On a ten-hectare estate overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, guests can expect 42 individually designed rooms and suites, a wellness area, a pool and direct access to the sea. From the private jetty, a speedboat takes you to Saint-Tropez in just under ten minutes. The signature restaurant "Beauvallon Sur Mer" serves culinary dishes with Asian influences and Mediterranean lightness.
"Six Senses London": Opening in the former department store
Six Senses London is the brand's first hotel in the UK. The new city retreat is being built in the former department store "The Whiteley" near Hyde Park. On the upper floors there are 109 rooms and suites as well as 14 residences, designed in warm tones and with a focus on tranquillity and regeneration. On the first floor, "Whiteley's Kitchen Café & Bar" is reminiscent of the department store founder William Whiteley - with seasonal, cosmopolitan cuisine and a lively atmosphere. In the basement, the "Six Senses Spa" provides a balance between high-tech and tradition: with a 20-meter pool, biohacking lounge, cryotherapy, aerial yoga and an Alchemy Bar for handmade herbal elixirs.
"Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus": Facelift for the hotel icon
Since its opening in 1955, the "Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus" has been the place-to-be in this dazzling metropolis. The legendary hotel has welcomed royal families, celebrities and world-famous personalities and is deeply rooted in the city's history as a landmark of Istanbul, home to the country's first "happy hour" and witness to 70 years of cultural change. In 2026, after extensive renovation, the hotel will open with 475 rooms, including 39 suites, all of which have a balcony or terrace. The "Imperial Suite" is a tribute to the hotel's magnificent dome. Guests can expect a new lobby lounge and terrace, a stylish jazz bar and a variety of culinary highlights. With an exclusive "Executive Lounge", one of the largest "outdoor pools" in the city and a peaceful "fitness and spa area", an icon is returning - here the heritage lives on and timeless elegance begins a new chapter.
"Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi" opens in the Maldives
Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of the "Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi" in 2026 - the tenth jewel in its global collection. The new resort is being built in the Raa Atoll of the Maldives, on a 20-hectare island with unspoiled nature and turquoise waters. Like all Bvlgari homes, the luxury retreat is designed by the Italian architecture firm "ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel" and follows the highest sustainability standards. There are plans for 54 villas, including an exclusive "Bvlgari Villa" on a private island, 33 beach villas with their own pool and 20 overwater villas. Culinary delights await in four signature restaurants: "Il Ristorante - Niko Romito", the Chinese fine dining concept "Bao Li Xuan", the Japanese "Hōseki" and the casual beach restaurant "La Spiaggia". The offer is complemented by "The Bvlgari Bar", "The Bvlgari Spa", a "Bvlgari Boutique" and "La Galleria" - for an unmistakably Italian lifestyle in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
