Skyscraper "One Vanderbilt" opens "Summit" observation deck

A trip to New York can now be even more impressive. Last week, the new observation deck "Summit" opened.

Right next to Grand Central station in Manhattan opened on October 21 the "Summit" viewing platform at an altitude of around 330 meters. It offers three floors a panoramic view over the metropolis, art installations, outdoor terraces and a glass elevator. Tens of visitors came to the opening.

Breathtaking view over the Big Apple

Ticket prices start at around 40 dollars. As with any trip to the USA, proof of coronavirus vaccination with an approved vaccine is required. The office tower with a total height of 427 meters "One Vanderbilt" was completed last year at a cost of more than three billion dollars. The Metropolis of New York already has several spectacular viewing platforms: Atop the Empire State Building, "One World Observatory" atop One World Trade Center, "Top of the Rock" atop Rockefeller Center and "The Edge" in the Hudson Yards neighborhood on the west side of Manhattan.
