The luxury yacht "Amangati" sets sail in 2027

With "Amangati", a new chapter of maritime luxury travel begins for the "Aman" hotel group. From 2027, the elegant yacht will glide through the Mediterranean, off the beaten track and in the hotel group's typical design.

Smaller, more boutique and off the beaten track, the "Amangati" will be sailing through the glittering Mediterranean from spring 2027. The luxury yacht adopts the elegant, clean style for which the hotel group is known and takes routes along the French, Spanish and Italian coasts as well as the Greek islands.

The first routes of the "Amangati"

On May 7, 2027, "Amangati" will set sail for the first time: on a seven-day voyage through the western Mediterranean, from Palma de Mallorca to Nice with stops in Barcelona, Palamós and Marseille. On the routes of the first season, "Amangati" follows historical coastlines and discovers Roman legacies along the Dalmatian coast via the Moorish-influenced regions of Spain to the French Riviera. Guests can also discover places that are usually off-limits to larger ships, such as the port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

On selected trips, the luxury yacht remains on site during cultural events, such as the Cannes Film Festival or the Monaco Grand Prix. Once ashore, a curated program of cultural, artistic and historical experiences complements the voyages.

Spacious rooms and connection to the sea

The yacht, which is currently still under construction, measures 180 meters and extends over nine decks. Designed in the clear style of the "Aman" brand, "Amangati" stands for spacious rooms, privacy and tranquillity. There is room for just 94 guests on board, spread over 47 spacious suites with areas of between 68 and 354 square meters. Each suite has a private terrace to enjoy the view of the sea and the coastline.

The interior design is based on the restrained aesthetics of a Japanese ryokan: clear lines, natural materials and a calm color scheme dominate the design. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light and a constant connection to the sea.

Well-being on board

Wellness is an integral part of the overall concept. The "Aman Spa" extends over two decks and covers 1,190 square meters. Eight treatment rooms with sea views, open whirlpools, a hammam and a banya form the centerpiece. The offer is complemented by yoga and meditation programs, a fitness studio, a medical centre and a beauty lounge. Pools, sun decks and water sports provide maritime experiences.

Cuisine with "Aman" DNA

Four restaurants offer different culinary concepts, including Mediterranean cuisine in the all-day dining restaurant "Alira", Japanese washoku and teppanyaki experiences in "Akari" and "Hiori" as well as the "Aman Grill". An in-suite dining service is also available around the clock. Evening entertainment on board is provided by a jazz club, a movie theater and a youth lounge.
