1. Timmendorfer beach – The frontrunner

Timmendorfer Strand in Germany is the most popular beach in Europe. With 165,000 monthly Google searches, this 6.5-kilometer-long sandy beach on the Baltic Sea secured first place. Timmendorfer Strand is a popular vacation resort in Schleswig-Holstein and offers a wide range of leisure and recreational activities. The fine sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and walking. The long beach promenade is lined with cafés, restaurants and stores that invite you to stroll and linger. With its fine sandy beach, numerous leisure facilities and excellent infrastructure, the beach attracts many visitors. Whether a relaxing beach vacation, active water sports or cultural discoveries, Timmendorfer Strand offers the right experience for everyone.

2. Cala Millor – The jewel of Mallorca

In second place is Cala Millor on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Every month, 60,500 Google users are interested in this popular vacation resort. The fine sandy beach stretches for almost two kilometers and is known for its clear, turquoise waters. As the water is shallow, the beach is particularly family-friendly and ideal for children. The long beach promenade, lined with palm trees, offers numerous restaurants, cafés and stores. Cala Millor also offers numerous leisure activities both on land and in the water, such as diving, snorkeling, sailing, surfing and paragliding. The beautiful sandy beach attracts many visitors every month who come to enjoy the idyllic atmosphere.

3. Cala d'Or – the picturesque beach

Third place also goes to a place on Mallorca: Cala d'Or. With 33,100 monthly Google searches, this picturesque resort on the south-east coast of Mallorca impresses with its charming architecture and beautiful bays. The area is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing and offers a relaxed atmosphere for families and couples. Cala d'Or offers numerous leisure activities both on land and in the water. Water sports such as snorkeling, diving, sailing and kayaking are very popular. The area is also ideal for cycling tours and hikes through the picturesque coastal landscape and the hinterland. A large selection of restaurants offering Mallorcan cuisine and international dishes completes the offer.
