Almhof Family Resort & SPA
Self Description
The Almhof Family Resort & SPA in Gerlos is an ideal children's, family, and wellness hotel in the Zillertal valley for all generations. Families will find comfort, space, and time in the spacious rooms and suites. The hotel, designed in a modern alpine style, is run by the Kammerlander family and “makes guests of all ages happy” – that's the motto here.
The friendly and dedicated team provides a welcoming atmosphere and a diverse range of activities for children, teenagers, and parents. Fun, games, and adventure await everywhere. The new ALMI-opolis – an oversized outdoor wooden playhouse – and the new Family Entertainment Centre, featuring virtual reality, a karaoke stage, iWall, billiards, and much more, offer unforgettable fun. Another highlight is the huge indoor trampoline park with Valo Jump, High 9, and Tumbling Lane.
In summer, the five side valleys of Gerlos are ideal for hiking, while in winter, guests can enjoy the hotel's own children's ski slope with a T-bar lift, several conveyor belts, and Almi's children's ski school. With around 150 kilometres of slopes, the Zillertal Arena is one of the largest and most popular family ski areas in Austria.
Adults can enjoy pure relaxation in the five-story adults-only wellness tower with Lady Spa, panoramic saunas, steam baths, exclusive private spa, panoramic relaxation room, rooftop whirlpool with alpine sauna, cosy coffee and tea lounge, and exquisite massage and beauty treatments. Or the whole family can visit Almi's Waterworld together, featuring panoramic indoor and outdoor pools, family-friendly textile saunas, a baby whirlpool, and a large family open-air whirlpool. Last but not least, the 110-meter-long giant water slide and the “FeRRRari water slide” are sure to make children's eyes light up.
