Hotel Klosterbräu***** & Spa
Self Description
Hotel Klosterbräu – a former monastery dating back to 1516 – is today one of the most legendary family-run hotels in the Tyrolean Alps. Family-oriented, charming and managed with youthful ease by the same family for six generations, it perfectly combines regional authenticity with exceptional culinary experiences at an altitude of 1,200 metres. Guests can indulge to their heart’s content across nine unique dinner locations: romantically at the “Herzltisch” in the historic monastery cellar, casually in the hotel’s own steakhouse featuring 50% vegetarian and vegan dishes, or in the monastery courtyard with its flexible retractable roof. The accompanying wines are stored in the 500-year-old wine cellar, the smooth beer is naturally brewed in-house, and even the breakfast eggs come from the hotel’s own free-range hiking chickens.
Pure relaxation awaits in the 4,200 m² wellness area. The award-winning spa invites guests to unwind with five water areas, eight themed saunas and numerous lovingly designed retreats. Particular highlights include the world’s only completely hand-carved sauna, “Heiss-Zeit”, as well as the 37°C rooftop pool with panoramic views. The stylish active fitness room provides the perfect motivation for an energising workout.
