Argentinian football legend Lionel Messi has launched a limited edition wine range called GOAT 10 to celebrate his status as the "greatest of all time".

Football legend Lionel Messi has just received yet another distinction: Switzerland's MM Winemaker has released the "GOAT 10" wine line to honor his career. The limited edition includes a Syrah and a Primitivo, which are both available for €60 per bottle. The namesake was Messi himself: often referred to as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) thanks to his incomparable achievements, it was only natural his wines would bear that distinction. The number 10 comes from his jersey number, which he has worn throughout his career.

Currently playing for Inter Miami, the 37-year-old striker has won the World Cup, two Copa América titles, four Champions League titles, ten La Liga titles, two Ligue 1 titles and numerous other cup competitions. He has also won the Ballon d'Or, the annual award for the best player in the world, eight times.

On Instagram, Messi announced his limited edition GOAT 10 wines as "two premium wines with collector's bottles that you simply can't miss".

The two GOAT 10 wines are not his first: Messi had previously launched the Lionel Collections  with MM Winemaker, which included a selection of Pinot Grigio, Nero d'Avola, Grillo, Chardonnay, Primitivo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
