The renowned Qatar Airways is further expanding its presence in Germany. From July 2025, the award-winning airline will be offering daily three flights to Doha from Berlin. This decision reflects the growing demand for connections between Germany, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
With this expansion, Qatar Airways is strengthening its position as the leading airline from the Middle East in Germany. As only airline in the region Qatar Airways serves five German cities: Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Qatar Airways has almost doubled its flight offering since 2019. In 2024 alone, it recorded an increase in passenger traffic by 16 percent compared to the previous year. Even more flights to Doha from Berlin provide passengers with even better connections to the global route network. And this includes more than over 170 destinations worldwide. Travelers to the Middle East, Africa and Asia in particular will benefit from the new connections. Destinations such as Bangkok, Cape Town, Singapore and Melbourne in particular are now even easier to reach.
In addition to the expansion of its network, Qatar Airways also focuses on innovations in the passenger experience. The airline is currently in the process of doing so, Starlink Internet on its Boeing 777 fleet - and faster than originally planned. By summer 2025 free high-speed WLAN will be available to all passengers on these aircraft. With the introduction of Starlink, the renowned airline is setting a new standard for connectivity on board. The Airbus A350 fleet will subsequently be equipped with the same service.
The expansion in Germany is another milestone in the success story of Qatar Airways. In 2024, the airline received the "World's Best Airline" award from Skytrax for the eighth time.
