Summer timetable 2025: These destinations are now accessible from Vienna!
Just in time for the warmer months, the summer 2025 flight schedule is here — and it includes several new direct flights from Vienna. Some of the destinations are quite off the beaten path.
The airport - the gateway to the world: hardly any other place is filled with as many hopes, dreams and wanderlust as the airport. The new flight schedule brings a breath of fresh air every year. The 2025 summer timetable also offers new destinations. Not only in Europe, but also on long-haul routes. In total, direct connections to over 190 destinations worldwide are available. Some locations will be available for the first time or after a longer break.
Northern Europe with Austrian Airlines
Austrian Airlines is focusing on destinations in Europe in the 2025 summer timetable. One new addition to the program is Harstad/Narvik in Norway. The region is ideal for outdoor adventures in an archipelago surrounded by mighty mountains. The spectacular destination for Lofoten fans will be served once a week on Fridays from May 30, 2025. From June 3, there'll also be a direct connection to Edinburgh. Scotland's capital city scores with culture, history and festivals. A rotation is planned three times a week. The Baltic Sea is also becoming increasingly popular with travelers from Austria - so it's good that Austrian Airlines is now adding the island of Sylt to its program.
Off to the south
Salerno is a sensation in the 2025 summer timetable. In future, Ryanair will fly directly to the airport on the Amalfi Coast. This saves travelers on their way to Salerno, Positano or Ravello the detour via Milan. EasyJet is opening up Milan-Linate with direct flights from the current season. Travelers heading for the Balkans or Southeast Europe can now also fly to Burgas in Bulgaria with Austrian Airlines. Sun, beach and sea await you here too! Wizz Air scores with two new destinations: Sibiu in Romania and Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Air Albania adds Albania's capital Tirana to its rotation.
On the road for the long haul
Scoot, the low-cost airline of Singapore Airlines, is offering direct connections from Vienna to Singapore for the first time this summer. The airline will operate the route three times a week. Saudia is adding flights to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to its network, while Austrian Airlines is reactivating its flights to Tokyo. The popular Vienna - Los Angeles route is traditionally one that is only available seasonally. The connection to the US West Coast will definitely be available until October.
